![]() The Nnabagereka has continued to attend several functions advocating for various aspects of development of the people. The office seeks to work with the communities as the primary beneficiaries. The youth leaders, women leaders, physically disabled people faith based organizations, teachers and parents as well as other people that are considered influential in the lives of the young people; they are considered as the target audiences. These include the youth, cultural leaders, head teachers, religious leaders etc. Nnabagereka joins 12th World Summer Special Olympic Games - 21/02/2006 Special olympics Uganda has been represented by 25 athletes who will take part in five sports disciplines of table tennis, athletics, swimming, power lifting and soccer. read on... Her Royal Highness, the Nnabagereka of Buganda, Lady Sylvia Nagginda, as patron of special olympics uganda,left on September 29th, for Shanghai-China to join the Ugandan team participating in the 12th world summer special olympics games that were to take place from 2 – 11 october 2007. Our anthletes with mental disability have made Uganda proud on all four previous occassions that they have participated in the world's summer games, and therefore the more optimistic that they will even be more successful this time. The Nnabagereka travelled with Princess Ssangalyambogo. She was also accompanied by the Buganda Minister for Women Affairs Mrs. Appollonia Mugumbya, The Personal Assistant, Mrs Catherine Bwete, the Private Secretary Mrs. Juliet Ssenteza. Mr. Dick Kasolo Buganda's press secretary also accompanied the team. |
